His impressive career path began at the Purdue for Life Foundation, where initiating as a frontline major gift fundraiser, he eventually rose to assume the mantle of Executive Director of Development for Health, Life, & Computational Sciences.
His contributions to the advancement of multiple academic units are highly valued, with over $150M in philanthropic gifts secured under his leadership. More importantly, he has nurtured a plethora of talents within his teams - guiding many to secure transformational gifts in their own rights. His efforts have not gone unnoticed, culminating in him being honored as an Almabase/Blackbaud “50 Under 50” Award winner in 2023.
However, Dan’s achievements encompass more than his professional life. His earlier years are marked by significant triumphs in sports, fostering a leadership style that emphasizes discipline and team unity. This narrative is etched deeply in the academic sphere as well - acquiring a master’s degree from the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign, and a dual bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Communication from Eureka College. Presently, he is in pursuit of a Financial Planning and Services Certificate Program at Boston University, displaying his enduring commitment to learn and grow.
